CHESS, BARBERING AND BRAIDING WORKSHOP
Our program is designed to teach students how to deal with mental trauma by using healthy outlets to heal and grow by applying the principles of chess that gives them cognitive skills for strategic thinking and self awareness.
Our program also teaches students a vocational training skill set in Barbering and Cosemetology Prep course that develops self esteem and confidence.
This innovative program opens the minds of students to a journey of entrepreneurship, teaching them how to become self motivated, driven and open to new possibilities.
Our program helps participating pupils to develop a number of skills including financial literacy, customer service, research skills, consumer awareness, marketing and branding products, listening skills and problem solving.

Outcomes of Program
1. Certificate of Completion for Graduation Ceremony.
2. Students will receive Barber/Cosmetology Kits.
3. Students will have learned the basic fundamental principles of Chess, decision making and strategic thinking.
4. Students of age will learn how to what an LLC is and how to establish their own business.
5. Students will learn the basics of Branding and Marketing.
6. Students will have online access to social media sites for continued education.
7. Students will have the opportunity to come back to future workshops to assist as student
instructors with pay.
8. Students of age will have an opportunity to enroll in Barber or Beauty School.
9. Students of age thats interested in the Braiding Program will have an opportunity to enroll into a 100 hr. course to take the State Board exam to become licensed.
10. Students will be greatly impacted by our team of Master Instructors, with the implementation of high level skills at an accelerated rate.
